Key Purpose
The Works Administrator ensures that the fabrication of new equipment and the repair of damaged stock returned from the regions is processed in an accurate and timely fashion and in accordance with the companies procedures. The processing of workshop purchasing and administration of stocktakes are also key elements of this role,



Duties

Manage the administrational paperwork for a busy fabrications workshop
To create and maintain Workshop Jobs on the internal system.
To place Purchase Orders for workshop requirements in conjunction with the Procurement Department ensuring that they are correctly linked to workshop jobs and raise the appropriate Goods Received paperwork on receipt of the goods.
To receive, collate and record workshop timesheets
To process cut downs and change of status as repairs are completed in the workshops.
To liaise with other departments and depots to arrange the timely distribution of new and repaired equipment.
To provide administrative support during works stocktakes to ensure that the SOP process is followed correctly.


Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience of working in a fast paced and busy office environment is essential
Good knowledge of word and excel
The ability to easily adapt to changes within the workplace
There will be an occasional need for travel to other depots within the company

This position is temporary for 18 months.
